Nestled in the Distillery Historic District, Pure Spirits Oyster House and Grill invites you to experience the charm of Victorian-era industrial architecture, both indoors and on our delightful patio. Known as the best seafood restaurant in Toronto, we take pride in serving fresh oysters from Canada’s east and west coasts, along with unique specialties from around the globe. Driving south to north, the parking lot is on right hand side. Coming from Front on Parliament, pass Mill street and parking lot is on left hand side. There is parking 24 hours for up to 500 vehicles

At the slightest sight of summer, we open the doors to our patio where you can sit and take in the beautiful Victorian Industrial architecture that the site is famous for. Grab a seat at the Oyster Bar where you can mingle with a Chef shucking your oysters to order and teaching you about the amazing flavours and how to best match it to our selection of local beers.

The freshly shucked oysters were delicious. The guide on the menu allowed us to enjoy each one, on its own. There is more than malprque from the East cost and fanny bay from the west. This is a must try! My sea bream came beautifully cooked. Although the tomato chunks could have been chopped a little smaller? My boss’ fish and chips were on point and my colleague’s fish tacos were well presented. The bourbon oyster shot came with a rather spicy malpeque. But it was satisfying!

Food was great. We were there for quite a while. Reservation was at 5:30 we didn’t leave till about 8. Which is fine, it just seemed like a long time. Aside from that it was really good. Great food!

Kami was absolutely amazing! I go out all the time and that was by far the best service I have received in a LONG TIME! Food was great as well. Overall a great experience! I will definitely be back to visit her!

Reservations do not guarantee you will be in at your time- had to wait 30 mins past my reservation- missed entire winter market because dinner extended past closing of market.

It was the perfect lunch..a meeting with a cousin I hadn't seen in two years. The bustle of the Christmas Market outside and then this warm oasis of the restaurant. A shucker"s plate of oysters, lovely bright and briny. Followed by plump mussels. Some fries. Key lime pie. Liam our server.... what a delightful young man. All of the staff were fun A thoroughly lovely time Thank you

Unpretentious seafood restaurant in a beautiful setting in the distillery district. Feels very east-coast in its lovely yet casual interior. Lobster roll was the best I've had outside of the Maritimes/US east coast, truly delicious.

Great spot for dinner before a show at Soulpepper. Staff is always welcoming and efficient. Try the fish tacos!
