Nestled in the Distillery Historic District, Pure Spirits Oyster House and Grill invites you to experience the charm of Victorian-era industrial architecture, both indoors and on our delightful patio. Known as the best seafood restaurant in Toronto, we take pride in serving fresh oysters from Canada’s east and west coasts, along with unique specialties from around the globe. At the slightest sight of summer, we open the doors to our patio where you can sit and take in the beautiful Victorian Industrial architecture that the site is famous for. Grab a seat at the Oyster Bar where you can mingle with a Chef shucking your oysters to order and teaching you about the amazing flavours and how to best match it to our selection of local beers.

Excellent evening. Delicious meal that the chef was willing to make adjustments to the accompaniments. The tuna was outstanding! Great ambiance in an historic building. Staff was friendly and efficient. The price point for wine is the only drawback to the ideal restaurant.

We got the seafood experience for 2.. def worth the money! Starts with a small tower of cold seafood and ends with hot food.. and we got to try so many different items! The fish tacos were meh.. but everything else from the mussels, clams, crab legs, shrimp to the clam chowder, fish and veggies - greattt! Also, the service there was impeccable; so very kind!

All the food was delicious and coming from Sydney Australia, it was great to try some Oysters from the east cost of Canada. Our waitress Michelle was absolutely wonderful and helpful! Can’t was to go back again

Pure Spirits is truly a family friendly place. The staff was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our waitress Iona was amazing. She took the time to help us with menu choices. Thank you for making our New Year's Eve a memorable and special one.

I have dined here with my family several times. It is always a stellar experience. The food is always fantastic. There service is fast. Even on a busy night of the winter market. We arrive nearly 30 mins early for our reservation and they still satus right away. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. The amotmospher is casual but still classy. It is loud but I could still easily hold a conversation with my senior parents. The menu is diverse enough that even my partner that hates oysters didn't feel left out and had an amazing experience. It is pricey but worth it for that special night out.
