Rooftop bar serving craft cocktails and seasonal cuisine 15 floors above downtown in the AC Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk. Take in views of the San Antonio River Walk, Main Plaza and San Fernando Cathedral.
Our food menu at 1 Watson includes Texas-inspired items such as smoked brisket tacos as well as three varieties of tostadas. Enjoy craft cocktails, beers and wines from select Texas vineyards and beyond. Our libations menu features cocktails made from Texas-made bourbon, vodka and gin.

We have Reservations available for a percentage of our restaurant and the rest of the tables will be on a first come first serve basis. For all reservations, a two-hour time limit will be enforced. We will only hold your table for 20 minutes after your reservation time. Thank you for join us at 1 Watson!

    Food was all room temperature. Ok for tacos. Not ok for chili. Very pricey for what you get. Not recommended.

    Overall good experience. Could have benefitted from having more wait staff. Had a small mix up with our checks and it took a bit of time to correct which caused two members of our team to go over in parking and having to pay extra parking because we had to wait for the bill to get corrected.

    Other than the view this was very lacking. It wasn't even crowded and it took forever to get our drinks and food. Also a lot of kids running around.

    Went over for Brunch and are waitresses was the most , sweet , attentive, and charismatic server. She was very energetic and gave us great suggestions for brunch! We wi’ll definitely be back!

    The chicken and waffles is delicious. The waffle was made perfectly. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken was tender and tasty. Absolutely loved that breakfast meal. The coffee was tasty too. Probably the best I have had at a restaurant.

    Very cool vibe and great view. The food was above average but not great and the service was average. Probably a much better place to go for cocktails than to sit and have dinner.

    Amazing & beautiful on the inside and out, don’t be shy to ask to sit outside, we had a couple drink inside then made our way outside for the view and pictures. Great experience, will def come again

    This experience was one of the few times that I have felt misled by the rating for 1 Watson. I will admit to not having read the description of it very closely and thought that it was a steakhouse instead of an upscale Mexican restaurant. I had expected to have a nice view of San Antonio and that was not possible for two reasons. First, the rooftop open area was partially closed due to a private party, which limited the seating in the rest of the area and second, it was a rainy and somewhat chilly evening, which made sitting out on the rooftop less desirable. I found the menu to be restricted and the dining choices were a lot fewer than expected as well. We had the brisket tacos, which were OK, but not at the level that you would expect for a restaurant that was rated Number 1 on the Trip Advisor list. Perhaps on a clear evening that does not have a private party going, the experience would be better, but I cannot give it a rating any higher than a 3.
