From the drinks to the food - everything was delicious at 1606! We shared quahogs and crab dip for appetizers and then shared the fish and chips and mac and cheese for dinner. We were too full for dessert, but maybe next time! Our waiter was friendly, attentive and efficient. It was our first time dining here and we will be back.

We had a fabulous meal! Ribeye was perfection, awesome grill marks, temp was spot on. Pleasantly surprised:) Also had the fish n chips and haddock was super fresh and delicious. Thank you so much, we will be adding this to our rotation.

The server at the oyster bar is what made the experience what it was. I don’t remember his name but he was an Irish older gentleman. The people checking in my party at the front were not the nicest.

As always, another great dining experience at Beauport! They have the best breakfast in town (no one beats their hash-browns). Had the 1606 omelette today, delicious and everyone enjoyed in our group truly enjoyed their breakfast. Great company, ambience and just a perfect setting for being with friends. Thanks for the wonderful service and excellent meal, see you soon!

Huge supporter of Gloucester restaurants. Beauport has had its ups and downs in the kitchen over the years. Today was a great surprise for my daughter's special birthday luncheon. Everyone enjoyed their meals - Salmon perfect - Duck amazing and scallops right out of the ocean. Special birthday desserts were incredible and staff was attentive, well informed and kind. 1606 is back on the way up and we can't wait to make another reservation. Thank you.
