   Food was great. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the risotto and Brussel sprout side dishes were delicious. Wasn't expecting much given the location but very pleasantly surprised. Will definitely return.

   The decor was outstanding. My steak was cooked to perfection and the Vodka Martini was so good, I had 2! The only thing I'd have to say is, it was a little slow in response once you made a request for something( food, drink, the bill). It was a Thursday evening and reservations were at 6:30 so the place wasn't crowded. Would I come there again? YES!

   Service last night was fantastic. The food continues to be extraordinary and well worth the price as the portions are very large. It’s wonderful to have such a quality steakhouse in Dumfries.

   The food was very good. The wine list not so much. The people and service were excellent. The pours at the bar were substandard.

   The staff provided a personable experience which they understood the assignment. The service was very efficient. The food was extremely delicious and top quality.

   The lobster tail was expensive for the plate and does not come with sides. Service was good but slightly overwhelming. Sound can be loud unless you sit behind the bar. Teriyaki Salmon was delicious. As a whole, experience was good but prices for cocktails need to be more transparent. Restaurant is clean and waiters are knowledgeable.

    We had a delicious dinner with a lovely host Dolly 🥰. It was our first time at 1609 and we absolutely loved every moment. Large portions and great drinks and atmosphere. Definitely recommend for special occasions.
