1854 Cocktail Bar & Lounge believes in more than just serving great cocktails in an elegantly vintage atmosphere. We strive to offer a unique experience filled with ambiance, drink, and food for each guest who enters our door.
Our bar features custom cocktails, mocktails, and prohibition-era favorites.
Our food menu is served small-plate style and focuses on local, fresh, and seasonally available ingredients. Our bar juices and syrups are all fresh and handcrafted because we believe in the difference that high-quality ingredients make.
Our staff look forward to giving you a warm welcome when you arrive at our secret entrance. Don't worry, there's no special knock or password. Enter through the double glass doors and take a left up the stairs to travel back in time to the 1930's.

we loved it , will definitely come back , this was our first time and it was on Valentine’s Day so I was a little disappointed because I was told they don’t have food just appetizers so I had went on their menu and knew what I wanted before. I got there and ate a little something at home first and then when we got there, it was a fixed menu for Valentine’s Day and there was food which of course we didn’t eat all because we weren’t as hungry and I didn’t get the board with all the cheese and goodies that I wanted, but there’s always next time

We've been here several times and are never disappointed! It's a hidden (literally) gem in Cookeville. I love to bring our out of town guests to 1854. It's a warm, inviting spot to enjoy some delicious appetizers and well crafted cocktails.

It’s a neat little place hid away in middle of cookeville. Service was great. Ambience was spot on! We only had drinks and they were very good also. Unique experience for cookeville! Recommend having a reservation.

Tha ambiance is fantastic! I love the old speak easy vibe. There's not a full food menu, just small bites/appetizers, which we knew going in. That does not detract from the ambiance and vibe of the place at all. The drinks are extremely well crafted and are worth the price (a little pricey but not unreasonable) and the short wait. Thisis my new favorite place.

Always a lovely experience…atmosphere is outstanding, a perfect date night or girl’s night out! Food is a step above traditional bar peanuts and drinks are delicious! Such a gem in Cookeville!

1854 Cocktail Lounge is Cookeville's best place for cocktails. One can get mixed drinks elsewhere in town, but not on this level. All of the classics are available, but they also have outstanding original concoctions. Whether classic or original, all are constructed with ingredients made in-house. This is Cookeville's only "speak-easy" style lounge and the ambience is superior to anyplace in Cookeville for folks looking for a place to enjoy high-end drinks in sophisticated comfort with their friends.
