For over twenty-five years, Lovin' Oven Celebrations, Long Island's & Manhattan's premiere caterer, has built their reputation on superb cuisine, elegant locations and refined staff. Their newest venture, the elegant 21 Main Steakhouse, encompasses all these things. Set in the Plantation House at North Beach Plantation in North Myrtle Beach. Gerard Scollan and his brother Matthew have captured the glamor and service of an era gone by - with a modern twist. Gerard Scollan has been in the Catering/Special events business for over thirty-five years.

When we made the reservation through you we were not told it would be a preset menu at $150 per person. If we had known that we would never had gone there as our wives don't eat that much. Because we were already there and it being New Year's Eve there wouldn't be anywhere we could go we stayed which turned out to be a very bad decision. The service was horrible as it took s over two hours to complete this 4 course disaster. The waitress was non attentive and the food was horrible. Cold chewy shrimp followed by a moderately decent salad with the main course being once again cold pool cut of meat. We took the deserts home as we wanted yo get put of there. We spent over $800 for one of the worst dinners we have ever had and a nightmare of a New Years.

We made reservations for NYE - and went knowing that a price fix menu on NYE would not be the best way to try this restaurant for the first time. The baked shrimp appetizer was tasty - but nothing special. The burrata caprese salad was very good. For a main course I ordered the filet - it was tasty but dry. The broccolini was a bit overcooked and salty. The potato croquette (?) was terrible. It looked and tasted like something that would be in a buffet or at a calabash style fried food restaurant. My husband ordered the Chilean sea bass which was just “ok” (we’ve had way better). We were very disappointed with the food especially at the price point. We eat out frequently and enjoy fine dining experiences. For the price we paid per person at 21 Prime - we’ve certainly had far better meals. Again, we understand in was NYE so we will give this place another try in the future. The drinks were very good and the service was excellent but the food (at least for the price fix NYE menu) was below average at a very overpriced cost.

A superb night out for the freshest and most delicious sushi on The Strand. The colossal shrimp cocktail starter and blue fin tuna were mouth-wateringly wonderful, then followed by two excellent sushi roll specials. Thank you to Eva for her friendly and top notch service throughout the evening. We look forward to our next visit!!

Great experience for our anniversary. Outstanding food and service. Filets were magnificent as were the sides. The "bacon" was worth trying - recommended by everyone. Soups - bisque and french onion also memorable. Server was friendly, helpful but not overbearing. Pacing was on point.
