For over twenty-five years, Lovin' Oven Celebrations, Long Island's & Manhattan's premiere caterer, has built their reputation on superb cuisine, elegant locations and refined staff. Their newest venture, the elegant 21 Main Steakhouse, encompasses all these things. Set in the Plantation House at North Beach Plantation in North Myrtle Beach. Gerard Scollan and his brother Matthew have captured the glamor and service of an era gone by - with a modern twist. Overall a great dinner with friends. Oysters Rockefeller were awesome. Scallops for dinner great, but for the price 4 medium size scallops seemed overpriced. Sushi was really good. Freinds had Filet. Loved it. Service was attentive but constantly interrupted our conversation.

Pricey but very good food. Nice modern decor but loud. Nothing absorbs the sound so had a hard time hearing conversation across the table. Service was excellent.

When we made the reservation through you we were not told it would be a preset menu at $150 per person. If we had known that we would never had gone there as our wives don't eat that much. Because we were already there and it being New Year's Eve there wouldn't be anywhere we could go we stayed which turned out to be a very bad decision. The service was horrible as it took s over two hours to complete this 4 course disaster. The waitress was non attentive and the food was horrible. Cold chewy shrimp followed by a moderately decent salad with the main course being once again cold pool cut of meat. We took the deserts home as we wanted yo get put of there. We spent over $800 for one of the worst dinners we have ever had and a nightmare of a New Years.

We made reservations for NYE - and went knowing that a price fix menu on NYE would not be the best way to try this restaurant for the first time. The baked shrimp appetizer was tasty - but nothing special. The burrata caprese salad was very good. For a main course I ordered the filet - it was tasty but dry. The broccolini was a bit overcooked and salty. The potato croquette (?) was terrible. It looked and tasted like something that would be in a buffet or at a calabash style fried food restaurant. My husband ordered the Chilean sea bass which was just “ok” (we’ve had way better). We were very disappointed with the food especially at the price point. We eat out frequently and enjoy fine dining experiences. For the price we paid per person at 21 Prime - we’ve certainly had far better meals. Again, we understand in was NYE so we will give this place another try in the future. The drinks were very good and the service was excellent but the food (at least for the price fix NYE menu) was below average at a very overpriced cost.

We were not told when booking through Open table that it was a single menu that night and when we realized it we try to cancel our reservation 3 days before December 31 we were told that it was too late to cancel and for no show they will charge our credit anyway. We showed up and asked if we can split la table d'hôte car it is just too much food for senior people like us. We were told that it cannot be done but our waitress did a wonderful job (I don't recall her name but she is from Connecticut) by saving our second table d'hôte in boxes that we could not loose it. However as usual the food especially the steak was delicious tender and well cooked. I think that Open table should has indicated that it was a single menu that night and that was a deadline for cancellation
