Welcome to 3rd and Fernwood, where the charm of an American Southern villa meets modern Southern cuisine in Charlotte. Located in the heart of Midtown Charlotte in the Metropolitan shopping center, 3rd & Fernwood showcases Chef Greg Collier’s culinary prowess.                               Great experience. Greeted as soon as we walked through the door. Staff seemed happy and upbeat The bartender was awesome!!! Recommended the Colonel Taylor cocktail and it was PERFECT!!! That sweet potato syrup (house made) really took it to another level. The food was good. I recommend you give it a try for the atmosphere and customer service alone. Great job guys!!!

                              My husband and I are supportive of the Chef and how his food is amazing. We had the most amazing time! Our waitress was absolutely amazing, professional and attentive. She also gave me a great suggestion on cocktails and she was right! It was a beautiful time we had, low level noise and a vibe. We had the option of sitting outside and it was beautiful. The food….AMAZING!!!! I have been wanting to try the Braised Beef Meatloaf and it did not disappoint! My hubby has the trout which was great, and the 3 Cheess Mac and Cheese and Grits were surprisingly great! We also had sweet potatoes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is filled with love and will leave you full!

                              Everything was wonderful about this restaurant. The food is superb, service is excellent, and its a wonderful vibe. Conveniently located and next to a free parking lot, what more can you ask for.

                              We tried this restaurant a second time and won’t be going back. While the staff was friendly, they were out of stock on drinks and the atmosphere was like a cemetery…desolate. Time to move on as it’s clear they aren’t going to make it. 😳

                              First time there on a date with my wife and we loved it. The food was a 10/10, and the vibe was really nice once the tables started filling up. They also played great music all night. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves

                              The team at 3rd and Fernwood is truly top notch. We were there to celebrate my birthday based on a review of must try restaurants in charlotte. We had the place almost to ourselves (which was a little strange for a Sat night), not sure if people just dont know about the place yet or what. But from the moment we walked in the door they made us feel special. The host, Seth even took the time to ask each person in our party to select a song for him to play. It's little things like this that set a place apart from the rest. The drinks were great and the food was good. Our group would recommend the meatloaf, burger, and dirty grits.

                              We had the pleasure of visiting for lunch and the service and food were fantastic. We ordered the short rib meatloaf, and the mushroom burger and a few cocktails! Everything was fresh and flavorful the burger came with fresh chips, which were amazing and that meatloaf will be ordered again and again. lol! Seth while not our server made us feel so welcomed. The music and ambience was the best part. Thank you and we’ll see you again soon!
