Bringing fine dining, premium coffee, and mouth-watering burgers to the historic intersection of Portage and Main, 529 Uptown is coming to 201 Portage.

A sister restaurant of 529 Wellington, 529 Uptown is a high-end restaurant on the north side of the 201 lobby. Accompanied by it will be a new high-end coffee bar on the south side, a burger stand called 529 Burger, and two kitchens on the concourse level.

    Food was amazing but took a really long time to get our food. Not our servers fault however wouldn’t choose this place before a Jets game again

    Staff are warm and attentive. Aesthetic is excellent. Duck nachos excellent. Good coffee The Steakhouse burger was an huge disappointment. Go to Hy's instead

    Food and drinks were amazing, the steaks were cooked to perfection and I reccomend the mushrooms and lobster potato salad!

    Great spot overall. Lightning was just enough. Very quite. Our server was friendly and professional. Managing my reservation was the best experience I have had in Winnipeg yet since I moved to the city few years back, what I requested was promised and followed through with ease. I showed up and everything was perfect. My partner had a wonderful time, and food was delicious. Highly recommend the Lobster potato Salad and Fancy Tots.

    Waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable. They provided valet parking with pleasant staff members and also provide coat service. Exceptional experience. Will definitely return and recommend.

    It is a steak place. We ordered 2 steaks (1 New York and 1 tenderloin) and both came dry and barely warm. Looked like old reheated small pieces of meat. Either that or they were sitting for a while before being served to us. Each one cost over $50. Extremely disappointed.
