   It was my son’s 21st birthday and introduction to adulthood, really something we wanted to celebrate. The food was exquisite, the service was very courteous and the experience was something we will remember. I highly recommend coming to 811 for a wonderful dinging experience.

   Very disappointed with the dining experience. Appetizer took 30 minutes to arrive at the table, main entrees were another 90 minutes after that. We were the first reservation of the night, 5:00 PM. We watched multiple parties be seated, served and finish their dinners before ours even arrived. Then, my wife's salmon had particles of aluminum foil attached to the underside, which she didn't realize until starting to chew on one. Overall, a very unfortunate dining experience, especially for the prices.

   Truly great food—the deviled egg special for Easter was unique and delicious. A rabbit mascot in a Purdue shirt was roaming the restaurant for photo ops which was fun! The wedge salad was incredible—a big slice of thick cut bacon, a fresh delicious chunk of cheese, multi colored tomatoes—this sets the standard for all future wedges. The profiteroles and coffees made the meal end perfectly. Beautiful windows in this building. Loved it all. And our waiter, Mitchell, was superb.

   We went on Easter Sunday for lunch. Food was wonderful, good service, and we really enjoyed our meal. We were seated in a separate dining room that was undergoing renovations so the atmosphere was not as high quality as the food.

   Great food ! We enjoyed everything, from appetizers to desserts. You don’t want to miss the chocolate bread pudding and ribeye! It totally worth my 3hr drive from Chicago. Will visit again for sure.

    Only had one issue, and I’m not sure if it comes from the communication of the app or front of house. When making the reservation it was asked if we were celebrating a special event and if there was anything that could be done to make it more enjoyable. It seems no one noticed the birthday celebration or that I requested the appetizers before we were sat. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and will do it again. The communication issue is why I specifically didn’t make 5 stars.
