For over 40 years, the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant has been San Diego's landmark dining destination and is undoubtedly one of the most unique and memorable restaurants you will ever find. Located inside a replica of a World War I French farmhouse decorated with fascinating military memorabilia, antiques, and aviation relics, the restaurant overlooks Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport, and has a cozy and romantic ambiance, with large stone fireplaces, intimate booths, and beautiful views. The extensive menu features mid-western aged beef and the freshest seafood. Here you will find USDA Choice Prime Beef steaks, slow-roasted Angus prime rib, fresh fish, salad entrées, seafood, chicken, pasta dishes, and fabulous desserts. Their award-winning Bottomless Champagne Brunch is not to be missed.     This was our first time trying this restaurant. We had a reservation for 10:30 on a Sunday but arrived 45 minutes to early. We politely asked if we could get seated earlier and the staff was nice and seated us right away. The food was so delicious and the ambience in the restaurant was cozy - very farm house. The staff was nice, polite and welcoming. We never ran out of champagne for our mimosas, and we couldn't decide on what type of juice, so they gave us all three options at the table. 10/10.

    The buffet style they have for brunch is horrible. The area is to small, hard to walk with the crowd. Bottomless mimosas, yet the server didn’t bring more orange juice even when I requested it. Over priced for the few options and small buffet they offer.

    The first time my husband and I went it was amazing, the waitress was super attentive to filling our champagne, the food was decent, and the line for the buffet wasn't bad at all. However this last time I went it was insane, we had a reservation so there was no wait, but we got our plates and still hadn't been served champagne. The waitress was no where to be seen, we were halfway through our first plate before she came over and brought us water and champagne. There was also a ridiculous line that went well past the restrooms just to get food. The wait for our second plate was 28 minutes just waiting in line for the buffet. There definitely needs to be a cap in people, or at least someone mitigating the line for people, and more servers serving beverages. Im not sure the $65 per person for the buffet is worth it when you only have time to get 2 plates of food in the hour and a half dining window.
