   Honestly, the food and the vibes were excellent—my partner said this was the best pita and hummus they’ve ever had! Which is a big deal because we love Mediterranean food. Our dinner was great! We also really loved the cauliflower. The baklava was not my favorite. It was very dry. That being said, the service was unfortunately pretty disappointing. Our server was very attentive to the table next to us, but we didn’t receive that same level of attention. It really affected the overall experience, which is unfortunate because service plays such a big role in the dining experience. It seemed like runners were bringing the food, so all the server really needed to do was check in and take our order. We waited over five minutes without anyone approaching us and eventually had to get up and ask for help. The server took the other table’s order first without even acknowledging us, and after finally taking our order, they never came back to check on us. They did refill our water once, but only one of the glasses, which felt odd and kind of symbolic of how uneven the service was overall. The food really was great, but with that kind of service, it’s hard to justify going back when there are so many other places that offer both great food and a consistently good experience.

   This restaurant is a gem. From the ambience to the food. We had an amazing time and the food was delicious! Everything from the Bronzino to the rib eye steak and the desert was awesome. I really liked the service there. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable and accommodated all our requests quickly and with a smile. We had Alexandra as our waitress and she was so amazing. I definitely recommend you try this restaurant if you’re looking for something serene, trendy and relaxing with good food and vibes.

    Super disappointed with the food at Abbalé. Ordered the hummus and aubergine as a starter and it was very bland. For main course we ordered the lamb, that was rubbery it felt was out of a microwave, and the fried zucchini on the side was soooo greasy and you could not cut or chew. To my surprise when I still wanted to give it a go on dessert the Baklava had something burnt at the bottom and we could not finish. Service and atmosphere were great, but with so many options with the price I paid that’s not something I would consider coming back.
