The service was poor. Waited almost 30 minutes for a celebratory bottle of champagne. Dinner took almost 2.5 hours.

Treated our sons and their wives for the holidays. Always enjoyed Abe and Louie’s and this time was no exception. Excellent food and the best service we have ever experienced in all our visits. Had to order a dessert to share just to have the chantilly cream. The men all enjoyed the Manhattan- presentation a plus! This may become an annual event with the family!

Another great meal at Abe & Louie’s, this time with the added experience of sitting upstairs for the first time. The atmosphere initially struck the perfect balance—comfortable and inviting for a special dining experience. Our waiter, Michael, was truly an experienced professional. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive, embodying the type of service that elevates a meal from good to exceptional. Michael ensured everything was timed perfectly, from appetizers to dessert, and his expertise was evident throughout the evening. The food, as always, was impeccable—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. Every dish met the high expectations we’ve come to associate with Abe & Louie’s, making it a truly memorable meal. However, during the second hour of our meal, the experience was marred by noise. Several parties spilled over from the bar into the dining space, creating an overly loud and chaotic environment that detracted from the otherwise refined atmosphere. It was unfortunate and something that could have been better managed by the restaurant. Overall, it was still a very good experience, thanks largely to Michael and the exceptional food. However, the noise issue highlights an area for improvement to ensure that the dining room ambiance remains as polished as the cuisine and service.

Great experience here at Abe’s. The ambiance was terrific and the food was excellent. The service was right on. A bit expensive for the portion sizes, but overall great!

Awesome evening. Most attentive bartender we’ve ever had. Brought 2 waters in addition to drinks without asking, had bill ready in no time before asking and had drinks brought to table. Waiter also did superb job.

Always love Christmas at Abe and Louise, unfortunately was disappointed this year. Appetizer and soup were cold. Lamb was difficult to cut.

Four of us for Christmas dinner. Festive atmosphere. Excellent service. The food was good...ribeye, rack of lamb and filet mignon were all cooked to order however the double pork chop was dry and the sauce had some sort of a thickening agent in it, which is a short cut. I assumed a steakhouse would grill a pork chop correctly but that wasn't the case. I should have ordered it cooked medium. Our server did not ask how I wanted it cooked (many people assume pork can only be cooked to one temperature but that is incorrect.)
