I recently had the pleasure of dining and enjoying cocktails at Above 8, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with taste. The rooftop setting is chic and inviting, with comfortable seating and an atmosphere that effortlessly blends elegance and relaxation. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and polite. This is my second visit & It’s a nice place to go however the menu has shrunk without many good choices left if you don’t want to eat meat or pizza , for a Christmas Eve dinner it wasn’t as festive as I thought it would be.

Food was great. Staff were friendly but the service was very slow. Our wine even arrived after we had finished our meal. There were only two wait staff on and this clearly was not enough for a busy night.

An evening out with 7 girlfriends to celebrate some birthdays. We were greeted by the friendly staff when we arrived and taken to our seats. From that point the service was excellent, staff knew the menu and were able to recommend meals and we weren’t let down food was amazing, and cocktail delicious. Definitely recommend but if you’re looking for a quiet dinner I would go a little bit later. We went at 6:30 and there were quite a few families there so it was a little noisey but we still had a great night.

The new menu is sensational and offers something for everyone. The presentation and quality of food along with the variety of drink options is superb. More than all of that the welcome and service from the staff is amazing and was something we’ll be heading back for.

We all had the prawn & avocado salad, which was delish, so fresh & great flavours. Our One Punch mocktails were really good & refreshing, our waiter was lovely, very attentive, nothing was a bother to him & the view is an absolute bonus. We will definitely be back Thank you

A family birthday celebration. What a great find was Above 8. The fellow customers all seemed familiar with the restaurant. Smiles everywhere. The gift was rather unique on top of it all. Highly recommend this girl a night out, celebration or casual night out.
