Welcome to Abrazo! We are a neighborhood restaurant nestled in the historic and beautiful Russian Hill neighborhood. Chef/Owner Michael Pawliks menu features contemporary Spanish-Californian inspired cuisine, sourcing only the freshest and most traditional ingredients. Abrazo features a lofty 18ft ceiling, a cozy bar, and a private dining room that seats 16. The wine list features the best of Spain's legendary wine regions alongside Napa Valley classics.

                                                Our dinner was delicious! The ambience and interiors lovely! Service was friendly, quick and informative. We ordered 5 dishes and loved them all. If I was pressed for an improvement it would be to for the piaya to be a slightly larger portion. We had a great time and will definitely return!!!

                                                Super lovely dinner date at Abrazo. We split three small plates and the paella and it was the perfect amount of food for two. Highlights were the grilled persimmon salad and the octopus! My only tip would be to uber there or leave ample time for parking!

                                                This was our third visit to Abrazo since my wife and I discovering it upon moving into the neighborhood 5 weeks ago. It is absolutely outstanding by every criterion -- food, cocktails/wine, ambience, service. This time, we brought along two friends. The four of us shared seven small dishes (we've now had all but one the long list -- every one has been great) and one entree (we had the paella -- excellent!). This was perhaps one small dish more than ideal -- the servings are nicely sized -- we finished everything but passed on the terrific-looking desserts. (By the way, Swenson's is directly across the street...)

                                                On a cool and rainy evening in Russian Hill what better oasis than Abrazo. Mike and Israel meet you with a smile and you quickly settle in to the great food , wine and ambiance of this classic neighborhood restaurant. The small plates (Gambas, Chicken and Potato soup, Gem salad and olive bread) are the opener followed by Pork Chop, Chicken and Sole as the mains. Delicious. Wine choices are varied and reasonable. Abrazo is simply a great dining experience.

                                                My husband and I dined here for the first time the other night and had a very nice experience. The menu isn’t overwhelming but has a variety of options. As the other reviewers mentioned, it’s a cozy space and all the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We ordered the bone marrow, endive salad, patatas bravas, and the paella. We enjoyed everything!

                                                This was our first time to Abrazo, and the food was delicious. We ordered the grilled persimmons with jamon serrano, frisee, radicchio, pomegranate-yougurt, cabrales and sherry vinegar, the gambas al ajillo, the braised lamb, an order of the seasonal house bread, and a glass of red wine (Juan Gil Silver Label), and thoroughly enjoyed all of it. The only negative was the cocktail, El Profundo, which sounds and looks intriguing because of the smoke, but in the end the smoke landed up obscuring all of the other flavors in the drink. The server was terrific, and the restaurant is very cozy and welcoming.
