Adalina is a refined hospitality destination serving a modern and engaging Italian menu in a timeless yet alluring setting in the heart of Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood. Led by Michelin-starred and Top Chef alumni Soo Ahn. Adalina’s menu creates a balance between Northern and Southern cuisine, providing expertly staged shared plates along with strong statement items that satisfy a table. Guests can expect house made extruded and stuffed pastas. Adalina’s offerings will be accompanied with tableside services, and a well curated beverage and wine program that aims to evoke a sense of excitement for guests. Adalina makes the perfect venue for a romantic evening, business dinner or special occasion.

    Food was good but not would you would expect for a $700 check, 5 star rating, etc. I had a filet and that was average at best. The fish dishes others ordered were good and appetizers were tasty but for the price and alleged 5 stars, it should have been better. The server was pushy and was annoyed if we were not selecting the highest priced items from the menu. When asking questions about the menu choices, he was quick to cut us off when talking and downplay our selections. When inquiring if they could not add pine nuts to the pasta dish due to my child not liking them he asked, “is this for an allergy?” When we told him “no, it’s just his pallet”, he responded, “well it’s time to change his pallet” and didn’t remove them. At that point, I rather have walked out with my family but endured the rest of the mediocre meal. **Additionally, be aware they add 3% surcharge which is mentioned on the very bottom of the menu in tiny print. I understand businesses making money and keeping up with their overhead but I believe they should tell you in person upon presenting the check.

    I came for my anniversary with my girlfriend and it was overall a 4.7/5. Everything was perfect except at the end there was quite a bit of a delay in the kitchen with our last dish. But the manager came to say sorry and gave us free lemon cello shots. Overall food was very good and a reasonable price. The staff was superb, our server Lauren and the help from the bus boys Jaime and another quiet gentleman, it was all amazing. They made sure we had anything and everything we needed and even gave us recommendations and tips to make our dining experience amazing. One of the best services I’ve had in a while. Typically looking very ethnic and Hispanic in a lot of restaurants hasn’t been the best for me and my girlfriend. Most of the time being treated like they wanted us to leave quickly to make room for more. But here it was anything but that. Lauren and Jaime literally made us feel like they wanted to keep us here all night trying food and is if we were family. Definitely will be coming back! Food was amazing and service as well!

    Great service. Beautiful restaurant and ambiance. Some food left something to be desired but other food was incredible. Cocktails were A+++.

    Katie was a great server, but our order came out wrong but still comped us that dish and brought out the correct one shortly after, plus surprised us w a special free dessert at the end for our date night celebration!

    That was on of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Make sure you come early to go to the speakeasy for a drink. Let them surprise you with the menu. Fantastic.

    Best Italian food I’ve ever had. But the restaurant is a bit too loud for my preference. Please try their tiramisu! It’s the best one I’ve ever had in my life.
