Adam Reid himself is one of the most accomplished chefs in the UK – with vast experience, four AA rosettes and a Great British Menu title to his name – while The French restaurant is an elegant Grade II listed dining room inside Manchester’s most prestigious hotel, The Midland. So what does Adam Reid at The French mean? That would be new flexible menus, a more relaxed, accessible dining atmosphere and Reid’s pièce de résistance – the chefs counter. Dining in the centre of Manchester does not get better than this and you’d be wise to arrive on Peter Street with a reservation in place – Adam Reid at The French is something the whole of Manchester wants to experience.
