                            Really nice afternoon tea with my partner for our Valentines treat. Good food, service and comfort prior to going to the Royal Albert Hall to watch a matinee show.....5 mins walk from the nearby NCP and the show. The whole experience was very pleasant, however maybe because of London prices i did find it expensive....but i guess thats just life.....Parking, Afternoon tea...and a couple glasses of wine (£110) and the Show......+£300.

                            This is not the first time we have Afternoon tea in Baglioni. We used to go last year and the year before> The level of food has dropped significantly, and the price increased A LOT. Sandwiches very poor and cake as well. One significant incident on asking for the bill, we were charged £45.00 for each person, when the Menu quoted £39.00 only. When we asked for the reason we were told that it was a mistake and we were issued a new bill for £39.00 pp. I really didn't like nor accept such mistake. We wouldn't have been aware we would have paid the wrong price. For a five star hotel, such mistake is NOT ACCEPTABLE.

                            The food was phenomenal and the service was incredible. I was looking for something that would actually be appetizing for tea and also had a close proximity to Hyde Park. Totally exceeded all of my expectations. The food was delicious and I would highly recommend this place for afternoon tea.

                            Marion was excellent and attentive (we took leftovers home). Gave it 4 as was quite pricey with alcohol - but overall was super nice and would go back

                            I'm bummed to leave a negative review because I felt like this could have been a great experience. My friend and I wanted to do one last thing in London before heading back to the US. Although the food and selection were really great, the service really sunk the experience. When we were seated we told the waitress that we had a hard stop because we would have to leave the airport in 1.5 hours. After the initial tray came out, we didn't see another waiter for over 20 minutes. This was a problem because the Baglioni insists on making their scones and sandwiches fresh for every customer out of the oven. Because it took the waitress so long to come back to our table, it meant that we couldn't be served before we ran out of time. Additionally, the Baglioni tea service is supposed to come with unlimited sandwiches, but again, because of the infrequency of staff visits, we couldn't order any additional ones. Sadly, after waiting 20 minutes, we simply got up and told the bar tender that we needed some service, then waited another 10 minutes for a waitress to finally turn up. She fouled up our order (bringing the wrong items 20 minutes later). Long story short, the food was beautiful when it finally arrived, but we have no idea what it tasted like because it was time to leave.
