Join us in the Lobby Lounge at Fairmont Olympic every weekend for classic Afternoon Tea. On Fridays, enjoy tea from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Immerse yourself in this timeless Fairmont tradition, celebrating 100 years of Seattle's finest afternoon tea. In honor of our Centennial, savor a special menu that blends timeless elegance with modern touches, featuring winter flavors inspired by our December 6, 1924 opening. Each guest will also receive a parting gift - our limited-edition 1924 Olympic Blend.

The experience is $95 per person, or $50 per child age 12 and under. Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten-Free options are available. Holiday Tea in December can be booked through OpenTable Experiences for Dec. 1–15, and Dec. 16–30 at The George restaurant. Please note any dietary restrictions in your reservation. For parties larger than eight, email PrivateDiningSea@Fairmont.com. Note: Price excludes tax and gratuity.

For 100 years, afternoon tea at the Fairmont has been a beloved tradition. Join us for a modern twist on classic favorites like Lobster Salad and Roasted Striploin, alongside seasonal treats like Mandarin Madeleines, celebrating our December grand opening in 1924. Enjoy our Centennial Edition tea blend designed for the 100th Anniversary, infused with premium and locally sourced Washington peppermint, vanilla, and spices. Guests will also receive a special keepsake gift. Vegan, vegetarian, and little "Kings and Queens" children's menus are available. Cost: $95 per person, $50 per child (5-12), plus tax and gratuity. Step into a festive wonderland at the Fairmont Olympic, where twinkling lights and our iconic Christmas tree set the scene for an unforgettable Holiday Afternoon Tea. Enjoy piping hot tea paired with savories including Lobster Salad, Olivier Egg Salad, Prime Rib and Butternut Squash Blinis. Indulge in sweet treats like Apple Choux, Madeleines, and Red Velvet Cake. Vegan, vegetarian, and children's menus available. This year, celebrate our 100th Anniversary with a custom Tea Blend and a special holiday gift. $95 per person, $50 per child (ages 5-12), plus tax and gratuity. Unfortunately, high tea was a big disappointment. From the time we sat down until we got tea was 45 minutes. It was an additional 15 minutes to get scones and sandwiches. The food was mediocre at best. The breads seemed stale. It was also very loud and we had difficulty talking at our table. It was quite expensive, and simply not worth it. There were supposed to have been bubbles and a birthday something-or-other, and that didn’t happen. It was probably just one of those days when we should have stayed home.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Fairmont. It was a fun and special experience. Our server was attentive and even included a special dessert for us. The food was incredible and inventive. We highly recommend visiting the Fairmont for a wonderful afternoon tea.

The Fairmont Seattle did a great job with their recent renovation (2020), and this definitely contributes to a great ambience for afternoon tea.

I had a very nice experience when my daughter and I went for afternoon tea. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. We were seated in the library section of the bar and although it was quaint and cozy, it was quite stuffy and difficult to feel comfortable in the low chairs seated at a table that was too small. It didn’t feel like we had enough space to truly enjoy the experience. I do wish that the tea could have been held in the George restaurant as it used to be

I cannot express how much we adore High Tea at the Fairmont. We literally have reservations every month now. They are so welcoming and warm, they accommodate almost every request, and are DOG FRIENDLY. But not just friendly, they seem to bend over backwards for pooches and this alone is heavenly. Our server, David, was an Angel and it was such a pleasure seeing him today. You will feel like a VIP every time you visit.
