Perhaps one of the most time-honored activities in Hawaii is our traditional afternoon tea while enjoying a tranquil garden view on the Veranda of our main building, we encourage you to enjoy the gracious service and our selection of fine international teas, coffees, and freshly baked cakes and pastries from our creative pastry team as well as unique tea sandwiches from Chef Testa's Kitchen. Please note if you have allergies or dietary restrictions, please alert us when making your reservation. Our ingredients are prepared in an active Pastry Kitchen and are exposed to gluten and nuts. We can accommodate gluten free requests as well as nut free with advance notice. Dairy and other restrictions should be indicated in your notes when reserving your table.

The Veranda - 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday

Lovely setting and generous tea service. I have been enjoying tea here for over 30 years. There are 3-4 doors along the mauka side of the room that open to the hotel’s interior green space, which brings in a breeze and heightens the feel of luxury dining.

Delicious food, top notch tea and wonderful service! We celebrated husbands birthday and enjoyed the full high tea experience, we laughed, loved the ambience and feeling the trade wind. What a lovely afternoon. Thank you Halekulani for the memories and spectacular food. Just as great as 12 years ago. Love the Golden Assam tea!

I enjoyed the tea there. Its best on the island i think. Just wish the scones were a little bigger. There was t as much food as I usually expect and portions were kind of small. But very tasty. Liked the lemon-poppy financiers. Glad to see they are back. The mango cream puff was delicious along with the little sandwiches. Hope next time they'll make a lilikoi dessert or perhaps some lillikoi curd. Yum!

The ambience is beautiful 🤩 For an afternoon tea at that price to get a teabag instead of leaf tea was very disappointing.

Overall a good experience, but it used to be better. The arrival experience was a bit lacking and not welcoming. Service was good once the server did not seem overwhelmed. We found most of the desserts too sweet with the exception of the currant scones. The tea selection was quite nice but 3 of the choices were out.
