TĪNG, named after the Chinese word for ‘living room’, is the collective name for the restaurant and lounge on level 35 of Shangri-La The Shard, London.

TĪNG Restaurant's delicious afternoon tea is the perfect way for guests to indulge while enjoying views of London that stretch for miles. Freshly-made sandwiches and baked scones are served alongside delicate themed treats.

Shangri-La Cares; our safety programme entails a range of enhanced protocols and measures in addition to our already rigorous hygiene and safety standards. Designed to ensure our colleagues work in a safe environment with peace of mind and that our guests can confidently enjoy the moments that matter most while in our care.

    Happy Christmas event with friends. A lovely place lovely views, afternoon tea cost on the higher side for what was actually provided. But, expected and things central london and the Shard.

    I was a little bit disappointed as I came last year with work colleagues and there were 2 massive Christmas trees outside the entrance and carol singers as you walked in. This year were a couple of bare branches with a few bows on and no carol singers. I wanted to bring my family as I had such a lovely time last year but as I said it was a little different this year. My family still enjoyed the experience as they had never been before so had nothing to compare it to. I would still go again.

    It’s was a wonderful surreal experience at Ting. Magnificent view exactly how I dreamt to be. Of course it was a tad pricey but worth the money

    Views & decor were stunning! Presentation was also wonderful. Desserts were creative. Champagne was delicious. Front of house staff were attentive and helpful. Our only issue was that we feel the service was lacking. We waited over an hour for our tea, we received everything else first, and when we were able to finally stop our server, he admitted it was never rung in. It’s truly the only part of the order has to be taken, and as a server/bartender myself, I totally understand mistakes happen but we found it odd. Forgotten tea at an afternoon tea! We laughed it off and enjoyed the rest of our time.

    After spending over £200 on lunch I find it a little cheeky not to be able to go to the bar. We were effectively thrown out!

    Fantastic food, staff, ambience and of course the amazing view! Afternoon tea was an absolute delight and our waiter was faultless. All the staff we encountered were lovely and very helpful. It’s an incredible experience and treat.
