TĪNG, named after the Chinese word for ‘living room’, is the collective name for the restaurant and lounge on level 35 of Shangri-La The Shard, London.

TĪNG Restaurant's delicious afternoon tea is the perfect way for guests to indulge while enjoying views of London that stretch for miles. Freshly-made sandwiches and baked scones are served alongside delicate themed treats.

Shangri-La Cares; our safety programme entails a range of enhanced protocols and measures in addition to our already rigorous hygiene and safety standards. Designed to ensure our colleagues work in a safe environment with peace of mind and that our guests can confidently enjoy the moments that matter most while in our care.

This is my second time here and it did not disappoint. One of the best views for a modern tea experience in London! Service is always top notch, entertainment was fabulous, and concierge was both polite and accommodating. I would highly recommend a table for 2 by the window - for larger parties, consider seating where the larger couch seating is positioned facing the view instead of with one&/ back against it.

Overall was good but i think a little bit overpriced. Service was good . Very good musicians during afternoon tea. Good was oké but Not very special. Tea is excellent . And wat a vieuw WAUW!

Beautiful views. Our tea was lovely with comfortable seating. The desserts could be fresher with less frosting. Dined with my teen kids. Was grateful that the younger one had an a la carte option menu while My older teen and myself had the tea option.

The quality of the food service is terrible at best. Scones were old and clearly resembled more of a cracker. Sweets were moistened, it looks like they were seating somewhere for long time. The tea was cold, and the silverware used was tired and in need of replacement. The service was just OK and very inconsistent at times. The view was amazing and the only thing that is memorable. Overall a very expensive and terrible experience. Avoid it if you can

Great afternoon tea - perfectly prepared sandwiches, cakes and scones. Lovely restaurant with fantastic views over London. It was a busy afternoon and the serving staff seemed slightly stressed - some requests were forgotten or took a long time to deliver.

The food and service was OK, nothing too special. The low review is due to lack of credibility from the establishment. We requested a window table, even tough it wasnt guaranteed. We were offered to wait until table becomes available or to get a another table, join the waiting list and once a window table is free, we move there. We choose the latter since we assumed that soon enough a table will become free. 15 minutes later, 2 tables became available and we asked to move to one of them. They told us that these are for other guests (even tough you can't guarantee window table and there is a waiting list right?). I don't like being lied to, and don't like when people treat me as if I'm an idiot. This place is erased from my list. They could have just said that windows table isn't guaranteed and you won't get it, instead of playing games.
