I had a solo reservation. But I was told there were no tables available, would I like to sit at the bar. There service was sporadic. Maybe short staffed. No connection, then more care. I had the pasta with fresh sardines. Good idea, but poor execution. Dry, heavy, and too much sauce. Needs to be freshened up. Their olive oil dipping reeked of too much garlic. Overall disappointing.

Excellent food, as always. This is my go-to restaurant with guests because the food and atmosphere are reliably welcoming. The staff are hardworking and pleasant.

Always a great experience at Agridolce. The food is delicious, the ambience is great, and management and staff make you feel like family. Highly recommend.

The ambience and service was very nice... Not fancy but cozy. The drinks were good. agrodoce appetizer was ok .. oil and nice spices on butternut squash, cooked well but didn't really taste squash. The linguine vongole was very small and not very good.. hardly any pasta which is strange and smallest clams. The dish my friend had, like cioppino, was mediocre and small serving. The waitress was great

We loved the gas fireplace that looked very realistic and being beside the kitchen to see all the delicious meals coming up. The squash leaves appetizer was excellent as was the primi piatti seafood risotto. The 6 of us were all delighted with our meals and look forward to returning next time we're in the Bay Area.

Our table was in a direct line with the open front door, and it was uncomfortably cold. We spoke to a server about it and he shrugged it off.

The food was excellent and the service was good when we got it. We had a reservation and waited more than one hour for the branzino and pasta dish to be served. And the pasta was almost cold. I think the restaurant needs more staff or should take fewer reservations.

All of our entrees were tremendous. The Octopus salad was just ok, but the caponata was terrific. Service was spotty, but the servers were friendly.
