   I've never been to Czechoslovakia, but having dined at Ahoj maybe I should change that! It was Fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere at its best. We didn't know what to expect, but having tried to secure a booking a couple of times, without success, I am very glad we persevered. There's nothing stodgy about any element and despite not being a desert fan, you have to have one of each for the table.

   A delicious and affordable fine dining experience of European and Czech food - quite a rarity in Melbourne and a welcome addition Bayside. Very friendly chef, who came out to meet us; wait staff all very friendly and amenable

   First time at the newly opened Ahoj. The menu was innovative ... a fusion of varied European influences on traditional Czech dishes. Our party tried a number of these, and they were, without exception, excellent. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive ... without being in your face. Prices quite reasonable for the quality offered. Overall, a great experience! Wishing the team there every success with the restaurant for the future.

   Wonderful Czech food, very nicely presented, in fact it was the first time we had Czech food, did not know what to expect. Looks like they have a short menu list, very well executed and very tasteful. Well done, we will be back for sure

   We visited Ahoj tonight and it did not disappoint. The food was really good and the craftsmanship was great. Once you actually see the food you will know that who very made it put there heart and soul into it. From presentation until the very last piece of food makes all the experience one of a kind. The service is great too.

   A different cuisine , very tasty, with Czech twist, good service and nice wine list in the quiet section of Bay st. with easy parking and good access
