Lovely food and ambience, however restaurant was not very busy and so staff could have been a bit more attentive

Great place for special occasions. Fantastic food, and good service. Made to feel welcome and staff were very attentive. Good choice on the menu too, and lots to try but it is a little expensive but in line with the quality

Akasaka is a very good place to eat in milton keynes. They have a very good selection of wine, beer and traditional japanese wines. Staff are extremely helpful. When busy, there is a bit of a wait to get the food on the table. Apart from that everything is good.

Food was nice but very different from the Japanese food we are used to from Australasia. It was a slightly different take on the classics, e.g. the curry was served deconstructed and had to be assembled. The seafood Yakisoba was nice, but I could tell that the seafood was previously frozen and not fresh. For the money I would have expected slightly better food. The service was variable - the girl was really good and friendly. The guy was really lost and stared off into the distance more than he served customers. Not a bad experience, but wouldn't necessarily come back.

This was my first visit and for my first visit, I brought alone my family and best friend and his family. As we all love Japanese food, our expectation was high. There was a great selection to choose from which also caters for people who is not a Sushi fan with rice, noodles and BBQ meals. The service was great, not too short, where you keep asking for more time, and not too long where you wished you went somewhere else. The food arrived hot and very well presented and you best come hungry as there is plenty of it. The Sushi is really fresh and very tasty. I would highly recommend this restaurant for value for money, great food and friendly surrounding.

Really nice staff and great food - sushi is a bit pricey but it’s sushi so that’s not much of a surprise! A great place for special occasions

Nice place and a good venue. Service was good and friendly however can be improved a little. Staff can be more attentive.
