AKASHA restaurant/bar/cafe features New American cuisine offering comfort food with big flavors and sustainable ingredients, for carnivores and herbivores alike. Chef/Caterer Akasha Richmond brings visionary cuisine to her own neighborhood eatery located in the historic Hull Building in downtown Culver City. Keeping the principles of sustainability in mind, the building's original steel, wood, concrete and brick arches were restored while the design materials pair with a seventies modernity to exude an inviting and lively atmosphere. The artisan bakery has both sweet and savory selections, as well as locally roasted direct trade coffee. The 20-seat bar highlights fresh juice cocktails, organic and premium spirits, beer and wine. The entire menu is available for catering or to go.

Great service, delicious food. We ordered turkey meatballs and spaghetti which was excellent! Beet and avocado salad was just a bit over dressed but incredibly fresh and tasty. Sweet potato fries are amazing!

I highly recommend AKASHA! This was for a birthday celebration, and the experience did not disappoint. The food was fantastic! Kale salad, Fried egg sandwich, Wagyu burger, and avocado toast with poached egg. Bottomless mimosas! Great little restaurant! With 1 hr of free parking behind the restaurant, it can't be beat.

This is a great place for Sunday brunch. Varied menu, good wait staff, jazz in the background. We were very happy.

Great brunch spot! So happy my friend and I came here as we thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. We were sat outside on the patio which allowed us to enjoy the California, December sunshine! The food and drinks were delicious! Everything was fresh and side dishes paired well with the main entree. I will definitely be back!
