Try harder on food please Apart from Frittos, everything else was terrible Disgraceful how I left the food but also disgraceful how they got the nerve to serve food like that

The reservation was made by accident, I had to put my credit card and when I realized the mistake the app will not allow me to cancel the reservation I have to call the restaurant and they didn’t see the reservation. On open table it says if I don’t show up got the reservation I will be charged £40/ person and it was a five person reservation. I had to call the restaurant five times Jutst to explain the situation and they kept saying they can’t cancel the reservation because it was made on open table and they can’t override as the manager has not come in but they will see what they can do without any promises that I won’t be charged the no show penalty. At the end I just canceled my card so I don’t get charged. Terrible experience.

Restaurant was half empty and is never full. The place is nice and service is good but they should change menu to more traditional Italian, the modern food and small portions is not attracting many customers. Traditional Italians that are good in neighborhood are usually full every night.

Uninspired menu, same that you will get anywhere else. On top of that the service lacks. Only benefit is it’s a convenient place to dine if you’re staying in the hotel or local and in need of a table because everywhere else is booked up. At Al Mare you’ll never have an issue with finding a reservation as they clearly struggle to fill the place. Probably has something to do with their staff and service. It’s rather sad.

our group booking was automatically cancelled without notification because we hadn’t “added a credit card” or “paid deposit” but this was not communicated beforehand. ruined the evening as we had booked for a celebration. very unprofessional!

came off a disorganised shambles on first visit our opentable reservation had been messed around and assigned the wrong table for the wrong group size so we left as they couldnt accommodate and came back a couple nights later without reservations prices are extortionate even for knightsbridge and the waiter tried to sell me the days special what was a £55 small bowl of white tagliolini which I could make myself at home but when I questioned the price he stuck his nose up and had the nerve to add a higher than standard service charge when the service wasn’t worth paying note: he said the truffle garnish is measured by the gram but its not a generous portion or what you expect to for the price felt like a right rip off
