Al Vesuvio is an authentic Italian Osteria and Pizzeria located in the heart of Dublin city.

We still serve a top range of quality pizzas, pasta, seafood, steak and vegetarian dishes and offer a full Italian food dining experience.

Our cuisine is steeped in traditional Italian cooking and all of our pizzas are flame-baked in an open brick oven.

    Second time in this restaurant as we found the food quite good. In saying that last night was a disaster. Arrived at 7pm as per booking. Sat bout 7.10pm all good, first course bout 30 minutes later. 8,25 still no mains. Asked staff about delay and was told there was a delay in the kitchen. Offered my wife a glass of wine by way of an apology.. fair enough. 8.45 main arrived. Not good enough. We won't be returning thanks all the same

    The staff and in particular our waiter was so attentive, respectful and just sound. We felt looked after and will definately return in the future. Thank you and a happy and peaceful Christmas.
