"Alali" Restaurant takes the dining experience a step further, building on the vision of the award winning Executive Chef Adam Kodovas, who along with Head Chef George Berkakis, put together the elements to offer a unique gastronomic experience. “Toque d'Or” (Golden Cap) & 2* at FNL awards for 2023.

Its location on the rim of the Caldera of Santorini ensures stunning views.

Locals used to call the area "Alali". Since ‘Alali’ means speechless in Greek, you are one step closer to encounter a gastronomic experience that will leave you at a loss of words, through delectable flavors and amazing views.

Cliffside tables have min. consumption 100EUR/guest & set 19:00 - 23:00. For availability send us an email at reservations@alalirestaurant.com

Children above 10 y.o. are accepted in the restaurant. Pets not allowed.

Restaurant is accessed by a staircase of approx 70 steps from street level, and there is no elevator access.
In case of strong winds or rain, tables are set at covered area.

The restaurant is wonderful! Food, service, environment etc. It's not cheap, but it's very worth it. O restaurante é maravilhoso! Comida, atendimento, ambiente etc. Não é barato, mas vale muito a pena.

The views are breathtaking and make the whole experience worthwhile. It was my partner's birthday, and despite notifying the restaurant well in advance, there was no cake or celebration. We had to remind the waiter about our drinks, the service was poor, and the portion sizes were disappointingly small. I would not recommend coming to this restaurant.

It's a very romantic restaurant, with a pool and a great view. We went at night, so the lights made the romance climate, although the view for the sea was dark. The food was an amazing experience. I ate the cod and my husband ate the lamb. The prices were 40 to 60 euros per person for the main courses.

At first, they didn’t find our reservation done with OpenTable over a month ago. Then they offered us a table with poor view because all the good ones were already booked. They charged us 6 $ for bread that they offered once we ordered which surprised me. The food we ordered was good I have no complaints about this but the servers came to serve plates on our table twice by mistake which were meant for other tables and I almost started eating in one of them. We left with a bill already including the tip and had not deducted the 30$ deposit made through OpenTable required to when you make a reservation. Very unfortunate.

Everything about this restaurant was amazing… the view, the service and the food. We had a cliff side table with a magnificent view of the water. The staff took extra time to explain all the food and wines. And the meal was one of the best we had in all of Greece. Very romantic and memorable evening!

Our family had an incredible time dining on the edge of the caldera. The service was top notch and the courses just kept coming. When we asked about mastic used in one of the dishes they not only provided a descriptive answer but they then produced glasses of it to sample! Each of us ordered different entrees and we shared several starters. All were very good. Thank you for providing our family with a wonderful vacation memory.

Très bon restaurant, comptez environ 175€ pour 2 pour entrée plat dessert avec boisson :) Le cadre est magnifique, nous y sommes allé en septembre pour 19h30 (si vous souhaitez voir le couché de soleil essayez de venir plus tôt) Les serveurs étaient tous très aimables et les plats super bon je recommande !
