Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

    Alberts Standish offers three unique spaces for all types of events from weddings, corporate dinners and presentations to private parties. The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. Flooded by natural daylight, all our spaces and the rooms are versatile and as equally suited to private parties and celebrations as they are to networking events, lunches and dinners. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

    Lovely lunch today with our daughter and her family who visited from Kingston Surrey. Jack, our server was brilliant and the essence of good manners! Our food was the best ever and brilliant value at £18.95 for three courses. They just love coming here and so do we.

    Abby was great and the food was excellent There was nothing too much trouble and the food was beautiful. The atmosphere was lovely and vibrant, I would recommend to anyone

    We are regular visitors. Staff as always were friendly and good but food was a let down. Side portion of fries was cold and needed to be changed and chicken curry was tough and had gristle. Left half of it. . No Morretti and ran out of Guinness ( national shortage for no issues there) . Sadly was our worst visit - Christmas and a birthday celebration

    Hi Mark, thanks for leaving us a review. As mentioned in our reply to your review on TripAdvisor, we are saddened to hear that the food disappointed you on your visit and apologise sincerely for any upset caused. We really do pride ourselves on our food and service and so it's a great shame that we let you down. I am aware that we replaced the fries but unfortunately we weren't aware of the complaint regarding the chicken, had we known we would have gladly changed it for you. Never the less your feedback will be passed on to our kitchen team and used to avoid future occurrence, same regarding the draft beer issue. We're really sorry for any upset caused and do hope you will give us another go in the future as I am sure your next visit will be much improved. Kind Regards, Alberts

    Service was amazing, from the moment we sat down. Lovely ambience. I ordered a steak and it was cooked to perfection.
