The Alex Surf Club is arguably the best seat on the beach with great food and friendly service all in one incredible location. Grab a seat at one of our great dining locations in the Bistro, Kiosk or Bluff Bar and your taste buds will be rewarded!

Our menus feature great family value meals cooked with some of the best locally grown and made produce on the Sunshine Coast.

Please note bookings 1-7 persons have 1.5 hours on table and 8+ persons have 2 hours.

Lovely setting to enjoy an evening meal whilst having the waves rolling in to add to the atmosphere. Service was great and food was better than expected. Great job done by all at Alex Surf Club.

Did not enjoy our experience at all today. 4 out of 6 meals were below standard. And we used to enjoy having a coffee and a cake after the lunch meal. But that no longer exists. Just a choice of desserts, which is not the same as coffee and cake. Also disappointed that we could not use our club membership card properly on the day (just the 25th as the sign told us upon arrival). Open table (or the club) should have at least given us a heads up, and we may have changed our booking to another day. Whilst we did get our club discount, it just did not seem the same nice experience, we have had, many times before, at the Alex. Time for us to move on and find another location for our family get togethers. Particularly where we can get coffee and cake after our meals. I would also like to add that on what planet does the head chef think that coleslaw is actually a salad. No tomato, No lettuce, just a spoonful of a poor excuse for coleslaw, to accompany the chicken parmi. Not appealing at all. So overall a score of 2 is actually generous for what was presented to us today. Very disappointing!

Waited for courtesy bus for 45 mins then got an Uber Message left from bus driver a tad sarcastic Food rather expensive we thought

3 orders had chicken paramys and ALL overcooked and dry. Coleslaw was cabbage only and dry. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately one of our meals was lukewarm and had to be sent back. 15 minutes later the replacement meal arrived. The fish was good but the pumpkin was rock hard and the other vegetables were nothing special. Also, at 5.15pm there were no puddings available! Most waiters and waitresses did not seem very customer friendly either.

Always love Alex Surf Club, good food, good service & great views of the ocean. I requested a window seat & was very happy to get one! Love that there is a courtesy bus which runs daily too.
