   The new owners have been renovating Alicante. They took out the coat closet and opened up the foyers so you can see the bar area. I like the opening of the foyer, but I miss the coat closet. They replaced the windows but it still was cold in the dining room. Dinner was good but not OMG like it used to be. We had two waiters who went missing at times. Only two stuffed mushrooms for the appetizer, so save your rolls to dip into the sauce. We asked for the pear salad to be split between the two of us. Our portions were large, but I expected more pear in my salad. I do not think there was a half of a pear between our two bowls. The veal and swordfish were good and large. The tiramisu and the chocolate brownie Sunday were very good. It was a nice evening, better than the last time we were there, but we were hoping for OMG and we didn't get it.

   We had a nice meal. Only complaint is the pricing. At the price level you are not a restaurant we can dine at on any regular basis. All other aspects were fine.

   Good experience overall but the noise level was high. Hard to carry a conversation without raising our voices.

   We had a great night. I think our waiter was Darlene and she was wonderful! Knowledgeable, attentive and fun! Everyone loved their dinners which included the halibut special with shrimp. Salmon and stuffed pork tenderloin. We loved the renovations! We will be back!

   Service is outstanding. The entrees were enjoyed by all four of our party. The blood orange martini may be the highlight. Highly recommend and we will return.

    Fine food, excellent service, the new owners have done excellent job of refurbishing this restaurant. Going back next weekend with friends.
