Alice B. restaurant and bar from award-winning chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken combines Southern California’s incredible seasonal bounty with Mediterranean-leaning flavors. The culinary vision is a collaborative effort between Feniger, Milliken and acclaimed Executive Chef Lance Velasquez.

This unique dining experience is located at Living Out, a luxury resort-style LGBTQ+ active senior community surrounded by spectacular mountain views. Inspired by the extraordinary life of Alice B. Toklas and her life partner Gertrude Stein, the restaurant establishes a vibrant space where culinary excellence, art, and community converge seamlessly.

We offer indoor & outdoor seating, plus bar seating. Dinner starts at 5PM. Bar menu starts at 4PM. Join us for Brunch on Sat & Sun from 10AM - 2PM & live music on select nights.

Mary Sue Milliken & Susan Feniger are the founders of Mundo Hospitality Group, including Border Grill, Pacha Mamas, BBQ Mexicana, SOCALO, and most recently Alice B.

The Two Hot Tamales have done it again. The food is just on another level of delicious!! Brunch food and cocktails were fantastic and I can’t wait to go back for dinner.

Experience and food was a hit and miss situation all night. The small plates were wonderful, but the entrées were overpriced for what you got and two people in our party of four wanted to send theirs back. Interestingly enough, one of the two in our party who barely touched their entrée got a lot of attention and apologies from our waiter about the fact that they didn’t like their entrée and how sorry he was. The other person who literally took two bites of their shepherd’s pie was completely ignored even when they tried to raise the issue.

Go for the good not the bland decor dining room. Brunch was scrumptious and on point for what you would expect from such an iconic chef and restaurateur.

This would have been 5 stars if I had kept my eyes closed during the meal. The food tasted really good, the service was excellent, and I loved the atmosphere, but plating looked like someone dropped the food onto the plate from 3 feet above it. Presentation was a miss!

2nd visit to Alice B-food was slightly better the first time. Our server, Tara, was working for her first night alone and she rocked it! We were also thrilled to get to meet Susan Feniger!

The venue is lovely. The Staff and Servers are wonderful. Great attention and very helpful with the drinks and food menu. Our appetizer of cornmeal cheddar drop biscuits was outstanding - very tasty and light. The seasonal soup was delightful. Squash with light seasoning which made it great. It could have been served at a higher temperature. Unfortunately, my main course was very disappointing. I had the chicken which was not hot, over peppered with Sesame seeds and a bit tough. I ate a little. The accompanyng salad was creative, but way to spicy with tart flavoring. I had a couple of bites. All in all a lovely evening, except for my entree.
