Alla Famiglia has been delighting local and traveled guests in this very same location for over two decades. This "diamond in the rough" is conveniently located on the hilltop of Pittsburgh's South Side. Boasting a fine dining atmosphere, its family owned and operated, and promises to deliver a consistent product with every visit. You will be greeted and treated like family, as you enjoy homemade scratch Italian specialties, an award winning wine list, and complex scratch cocktails. Dine in an old world atmosphere under paddle fans, exposed brick, antiquities from all around the world. Six unique and interestingly decorated dining rooms comprises the character of this institution which started with just 8 tables, 25 years ago. Choose from daily provisioned fishes and exotics from the sea, dry and wet aged Prime beef, tender milk fed veal, and homemade maccheroni are just some of the choices you will have to select from. Crown the evening with our pastries prepared on site.

Phenomenal experience all around! Awesome chill vibes upstairs in the cigar lounge, great for extra quality time with your company. The service was top tier, you can tell the employees enjoy working there... which is just a blessing in itself. And the food was outstanding! Very happy with our experience.

This place never disappoints. The meals and the service were both amazing. I never thought I would ever order fish from the best Italian place in Pittsburgh but I ordered the Dover Sole and it was amazing. Of course with a side of pasta. Perfect night with a client and a great experience at Alla Famiglia!

What a hidden gem ❤️. The Casa salad, upgraded pasta course prepared table side, lemon chicken; then a Raspberry tiramisu. The chef is genius. ❤️

Our server was excellent-very knowledgeable and delightful. The food was very good ~ portions were huge. Would have liked to see some vegetarian options on the menu for entrees. The house salad was delicious-perfect balance of sweet and savory. Vodka sauce pasta was delicious ~ especially topped with hot pepper oil and cheese.

Amazing experience at Famiglia! A beautiful, warm room and terrific service only added to the fantastic meal. the "Gigante" meatball was all it is advertised to be - rich with melted cheese and a delicious red sauce. Salads were crisp and the tableside Caico E Pepe preparation was fun to watch. Veal and filet entrees were beautiful and perfectly prepared. A deep Italian wine list was offered some perfect pairings and the ambiance in the room was really nice. A gem in every way.
