Alobar Downtown is nestled in the heart of Toronto's bustling Financial District. Alobar Downtown offers revelry in the bar and lounge and warmth in the dining room, both featuring menus from Michelin-starred chef Patrick Kriss. World class wines are displayed as a centrepiece to pair with choice seafood, grilled fish and prime chops. All served with genuine hospitality.

Join us for happy hour on weekdays from 2.30pm-5.30pm. Available at our bar, lounge, and our covered and heated patio.

We feature live DJ sets Wednesdays through Saturdays starting at 5pm!

For groups of 11+, please book our Group Dining, Family Style Experience or contact us at info@alobardowntown.com.

For groups larger than 8 guests, we are unable to provide individualized bills, however we are able to process as many payments as required.

Best dish was the Tagliolini, really unique dish and tasted amazing! The Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon was good but on the more medium side of medium-rare. Wish the bacon wrap was also thicker. For the appetizers, the Caesar Salad was very good! The maple candied bacon was so tasty. The Tuna Tartare was ok but wish I tried the sashimi or hamachi dishes instead. Service was amazing, everyone was so kind and the cocktails were very good!

Our food was very good of course, but I have to mention that our service was outstanding from everyone we interacted with. Our server was very attentive, pleasant and professional, and she was able to provide recommendations on menu items. The vibe/decor is beautiful. Everything was great and I can’t wait to return to try some more menu items!

Alobar is absolutely amazing. It was always difficult to get a last minute reservation at the yorkville location. You won’t have that problem at this location. The menu is slightly different but has amazing options that yorkville doesn’t have. The seafood platter is a must order. However, I will say they used to have two size options and now they just have the larger option. The large is too large for us. My two favourite dishes that I absolutely HAVE to order are the tiger prawns and beef carpaccio. The carpaccio is the best I’ve had from any restaurant. The steaks are cooked to perfection and have great flavour. The twice baked potato is delicious and broccolini is yum! Service can make or break a dining experience. Service here is top notch. It sort of spoils you for other restaurants bc you get used to this amazing and friendly service. I love coming to Alobar downtown.

SO GOOD! The service was amazing. From the moment we walked in and were greeted, everyone was so kind and welcoming. And everything our waiter suggested food wise was delicious! Will definitely be coming back!

Very excellent attentive service. All the food was delicious. Many of the plates can be shared. A very nice meal.

The service and food was great. Only complaint is that we were seated by the window and it was extremely cold. I had to wear my coat.

This has been the best service I have gotten in a long time at any restaurant I've been. The server was absolutely wonderful.

Service was lacking. My friend ordered a glass of dealcoholized Chardonnay and we had to remind 3 different people for it. One brought the glass. Another got the waiter. The third person came and brought the wrong chardonnay (with alcohol). Thankfully I read the bottle after my friend already tasted it. They finally brought it. This was by the time we already had our main dish... I don't know who was our server as we probably saw 4 different people. It took really long to be attended to. Took even longer to get the bill. My new York steak was delicious though. Mushrooms and broccolini were good too. The food was the only saving thing from this experience
