We were a party of 4. Our server was excellent. All of us greatly enjoyed our meals and look forward to returning in the future. We were seated in the downstairs level which is fine, but lacks the ambiance of the main level.

loved it! the atmosphere is amazing and our waitress was so helpful and explanatory of the menu. we were able to get a reservation at the last minute and amazing service on probably the busiest day of the year for restaurants.

Delicious food- everything on the menu is worth ordering at least once. Beautiful, classy ambience and kind, attentive staff. This restaurant could make anyone fall in love with pasta. By far my family’s favorite place in the city. We recommend the fusilli & the Caesar salad; both are perfectly-executed modern twists on classic Italian dishes (like everything on the menu). Wonderful experience all around every time we go here. Cannot recommend Alta Via enough— it’s worth all the hype and prices.

We had tickets to a play at the arts center and were running a little late. We actually had time for three main courses and a cup of coffee. It was delicious.

My husband and I dined here before the theatre and had a delightful experience. Service was topnotch, ambience and decor was quietly elegant and the food was delicious. The warm bread and olive oil was super tasty. I had the fusilli with vodka sauce and my husband enjoyed the orecchiette. We shared the crispy Brussel sprouts.

We have been here many times with positive experiences; tonight they were very busy. The staff could not handle the volume of clients.

Watch your bill. I was mistakenly overcharged by $100! Credit card was charged and I was given the receipt without the itemized bill. I had to request it from the waitress to find the overcharged amount. Not convinced this was a mistake.
