Amali's ethos is inspired by the Mediterranean way of life, emphasizing vegetables, olive oil, cheese, grains, and fish. Our menu reflects the historical cuisines shared by modern day Greece, Italy, France, and Spain. Our wine list offers approximately 400 selections and has been called "daring" by The New York Times and "one of the best Mediterranean selections in Midtown" by New York Magazine.

    Excellent service. Sat in the back room which was a little quieter than the front. They serve a great cracker with the salmon tartar. Would have liked more fish options as they were out of Dorado as a main course.

    Always a delightful place to dine after theater. The service is very nice and friendly. The food is delicious. There are plenty of choices on the menu. The wine list is very good. The interior is cozy with a few corner tables. All in all I recommend Amali.

    Good food, good service. Duck kofte was dull, inadequately seasoned. Way too noisy. Labne was terrific. Wine, excellent. Cocktail also excellent

    The food was average. My bean dish was watery and the grilled shrimp were small, though they tasted good. My friend ordered salmon tartar. I repeated it to the waiter twice and what arrived was a grilled salmon salad. Overall the experience was mediocre.

    Great good and service. Everything was well seasoned and well prepared with healthy portions and nice presentation. The restaurant also made accommodations for our gluten free guest.

    We invited some friends for lunch, and, without exception, were impressed by the food and service. Our only complaint was that the 18% service charge was only revealed in very small print on the bill.

    First time at this Mediterranean restaurant, host and wait staff very nice, room was very nicely decorated but could have been a little more lit so we could see the delicious food that was being served. Had the grilled clams, the breadcrumbs were nicely toasted on top of delicious local clams. For the enter, I had the red snapper served on Moroccan rice wrapped in grape leaves.
