Inspired by its idyllic bayside setting, Amara at Paraiso is the quintessential Miami waterfront restaurant bringing together bold Latin American flavors, coastal ingredients, and South Florida’s diversity of food culture. From environment to cuisine and vibe, experience the dynamic energy, local ingredients, and natural beauty of Biscayne Bay that defines what living in Miami is all about through the lens of James Beard Award-winning chef/restauranteur Michael Schwartz.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe dining experience for our guests during these unprecedented times. Our outdoor seating is spacious, with many tables on our covered terrace.

We accept walk ins and have bar seating available.

Your table is adorned with crisp white linen, while personalized touches like Champagne, flowers, and custom menus elevate your evening. Immerse yourself in a bespoke and indulgent dining journey. Select add ons to curate your experience, or send us a note at reservations@amaraatparaiso.com to customize your experience even more. Experiences must be booked at least 24 hours in advance to ensure attention to all details. Waterfront Experience reservations are non-refundable, rain or shine (if weather is not in our favor we’ll give you the best seat in the house under the covered patio).

    Average food for above average prices. Would not go back. The ribeye was slightly overcooked but still delicious. The short rib was super dry and the worst part of our meal. Fries were average, like you’d get from a generic pizza/wings takeout place. Very nice staff and ambiance though.

    It is always a pleasure to be at Amara, the Boardwalk tables are great, beautiful views and ambiance. Service at the bar and dining was excelent. One detail we did not enjoy was that nobody told us the happy hour drinks were only at the bar so when they moved us out to the table we were not able to enjoy our second drink. Now we know!! I still recomend it greatly.

    Beautiful spot with a great vibe directly on the water. Perfect for a casual lunch or brunch. There were four of us dining, and we opted for the brunch items, breakfast sandwiches and breakfast bowls. Everything was good besides the crispy lamb chorizo in the breakfast sandwich was dry and the meat in the burger was overcooked. Brunch bowl was delicious.

    We found cigarettes in our water and found it strange that staff wouldn’t let us sit at our empty table even after ordering our drinks for happy hour

    Tucked away and overlooking the bay, this gem was a perfect location to enjoy our time on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. The fresh breeze was a great compliment to the handcrafted cocktails, delicious food, and fantastic service. The price was great for the location and quality of the food and staff.

    Extremely pricey for the food quality, especially relative to comparable price points in Miami. Great atmosphere. Service is not uniformly great, with some outstanding and some subpar servers.
