Inspired by its idyllic bayside setting, Amara at Paraiso is the quintessential Miami waterfront restaurant bringing together bold Latin American flavors, coastal ingredients, and South Florida’s diversity of food culture. From environment to cuisine and vibe, experience the dynamic energy, local ingredients, and natural beauty of Biscayne Bay that defines what living in Miami is all about through the lens of James Beard Award-winning chef/restauranteur Michael Schwartz.

We are taking every precaution to ensure a safe dining experience for our guests during these unprecedented times. Our outdoor seating is spacious, with many tables on our covered terrace.

We accept walk ins and have bar seating available.

Your table is adorned with crisp white linen, while personalized touches like Champagne, flowers, and custom menus elevate your evening. Immerse yourself in a bespoke and indulgent dining journey. Select add ons to curate your experience, or send us a note at reservations@amaraatparaiso.com to customize your experience even more. Experiences must be booked at least 24 hours in advance to ensure attention to all details. Waterfront Experience reservations are non-refundable, rain or shine (if weather is not in our favor we’ll give you the best seat in the house under the covered patio).

    Amazing service. We loved the food and the beautiful water view we had to celebrate New Years. Everything was perfect for this special occasion.

    Overbooked. Nos dieron la mesa 1hs mas tarde que nuestra reserva, se quedaron sin todos los platos de carne del menu. No nos ofrecieron ni algo de beber en compensación mientras esperabamos.

    We went to the new years eve dinner . To start they were very misleading with how they marketed this dinner stating that for a fixed price per person you would get dinner , party favors and one glass of champagne and then you could pay extra as an add on to get champagne all night , which we did. When we get there they tell us that the amount we paid which has $1215 for 5 people was only for the table reservation and for the Champagne but that the food was not included, which is quite frankly outrageous, even for Miami. Our seating was supposed to be at 10pm and we ended up getting our table at 11pm , one hour later. Then we go to order for our food, which we had to pay extra for, and they tell me the have none of the steaks left and some other entrees either , there were only 2 main dishes to pick from and they were either seafood or chicken . They did not give us any party favors because “they ran out” only like 4 other tables were able to get. They did not have a NYE ambience , meaning music , decorations etc, it just felt like we were having a regular dinner any day of the year. They did not have fireworks. I had also paid for the entrance to the rooftop after dinner and then they tell me I cant come in because I never confirmed !!! Mind you they never called ,texted or email asking me to confirm!!! I would assume that if I paid for it its because Im confirmed!!! And then we come to find out they overbooked the rooftop and thats why they were not letting anymore people in , even for us who paid in advanced. Honestly the only good thing out this experience was the waiter . He was very kind and attentive, even tho he was super busy and overworked. He made sure we had a pleasant time even after all this inconveniences. I WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS UNTRUSTING , IRRESPONSIBLE RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN AND RECOMMEND YOU AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU DONT WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

    Ivan Barros is an amazing chef; and the food was delicious as expected. The service was almost impeccable—almost in that our server was stupendous and attentive as was the sommelier, but the food runner dropped off food without bringing plates or utensils. Fortunately, the server Furon quickly noticed and rectified the mishap. Dinner was incredible! But have dinner early and ring in the NY elsewhere. The rooftop lounge was overcrowded. The lines for entrance and champagne very long, made longer by inadequate stocking of champagne and glasses at the reception area. Noisy, crowded, overpriced.
