   Our feisty Mom/Grandmother was turning 87 years old, and I searched for a restaurant easily reached by our Center City-living daughter And our Tom's River-living son. Amore's fit that bill. How delighted we 5 were with our first visit. Very nice ambiance, decor noticed upon arrival. Tended to immediately. Delicious antipasta and stuffed mushrooms enjoyed by the table. It was difficult to decide on an entree, because every offer was appealing. The rib-eye on special that evening was Huge, and I commented that our table was silent as we all dove into our plates. A meal that you chew slowly to savor, but also can't wait to take the next taste. We even offered tastes to our tablemates. Tiramisu for dessert was to die for. Big enough slice to share a bite. We now have a new go-to place for special occasions, right in the neighborhood.

   The food was amazing, for our first course we had gotten the mussels and stuffed mushrooms and they were amazing, and for our second course I got the ny steak and it was cooked to perfection and my girlfriend got the black dough shrimp ravioli and she said it was also amazing, for dessert we shared a tiramisu and I will say it is one of the best I’ve ever had!!!! I will definitely be coming back here more often!!

   An upscale dining feel without upscale prices. What a great Italian gem in Levittown Pa. Very nice atmosphere with white tablecloths and stemware. Diverse menu, and the food is very good. Portions are not oversized but just right. The service is really what makes this place shine. Very attentive to whatever you need. Water glasses will not go empty because the waitstaff are always coming around keeping glasses topped off. Also, the waitstaff not only performs at a professional level, they dress the part, e.g. males all wearing ties. Bottom line, you will not be disappointed with this place by any means, and will be planning your next trip back as you leave!

   First the good. Staff was very good. they all work as a team. Everyone was very nice and professional. My husband and I are graduates of the Culinary Institute of America so perhaps we are a little pickier than average people. WE ordered Calamari to share, It was tough, chewy and sliced very thick. We ate some and shared with our dogs when we got home. My husband ordered Veal Marsala. The veal was pounded so hard it wasn't even recognizable as meat. He has ordered veal at many places and neither of us has ever seen the mangled mess he was served. I ordered Chicken Amore the sauce was clearly made from jarred/powdered stock and was terrible. The vegetables were good. It was a Saturday night and very busy, very noisy and hard to have a conversation. I know this is a popular restaurant and it honestly shocks me at how busy it is for such terrible food. This is the worst review I have ever written. I has truly hoped Amore was going to be much better then it was.

   We reserved for the Saturday after Valentine's Day. They had a reduced menu along with a set Valentine's Day menu. We ended up ordering from both. My daughter had the enormous Pork Chop Parmagian with pasta. I had 20 ounce Rib Eye with mashed potatoes and grill vegetables. Both were very good and huge portions. I had Fried Calamari that was part of my Valentine menu. It was big enough to share with my daughter. My wife had veal picatta from the Valentine menu and had the beet salad. She was very pleased with her order even it didnt have the portions my daughter and I had. The food was very good. We all tried a little of each. The service was friendly and on point. Definitely thumbs up and returning again.

   This was our third visit We arrived early for our reservation and were seated immediately The wait staff couldn't be better and the food, as always, was excellent. We had a pleasant experience and were fully satisfied. We will definitely continue to dine at Amore!
