First time at this restaurant and we weren’t disappointed. We enjoyed the Shrimp Scampi and the Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli, both were delicious. Thomas, our waiter, was very accommodating.

It is just a fantastic place. We celebrated my mom’s birthday last night and everything was amazing. They always go above and beyond for their customers and their food is simply delicious. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Again, a delightful evening, with high quality food, and entertainment by Luis Marais. Brought friends and they really enjoyed it as well.

Great food….Every item served perfectly. The food entertainment wine list and the owners attention to detail was wonderful. I will bring my friends next time, they deserve to dine in one of the premier restaurants in Sarasota…

I had salmon and my husband had veal Parmesan and Limoncello cake for dessert. Everything was beyond excellent. Would definitely go again.

We had a wonderful dinner - I ordered from the Portuguese menu & my husband ordered from the Italian side. Both our meals were delicious. We came to hear Luis who was playing that evening & were very surprised on the great food experience there.

I brought my in-laws last night to Amore and it proved to be the highlight of their visit to Sarasota,! They had Caesar salad in tasty edible baskets and then a pasta dish with lobster. I had excellent ravioli, and we topped off the meal with espresso and tiramisu. For all three of us, the most enjoyable part of the evening was listening to Eddie Tobin play the piano, sing, and tell stories. Plan a visit to Amore and you’ll have a fun evening also!

Lovely wait staff. Great music. Excellent food and plentiful. Creative menu. Very good ambience, though semi-lost in a shopping strip. Parking a great improvement over its prior location in downtown Sarasota. They did not rush us. Would go back.
