                                          On arriving at 7-30 pm the place was empty …it did not get busy until 9-40 ish..we had food which was average in taste and quality ..we had cocktails which were ok .service at first was ok , but got slower as the night progressed .main reason for our visit was the entertainment on the night as we have seen and listened to the solo musician before.entertainment was good and the atmosphere was good entertainment..when the music finished at 11 pm ..the staff started cleaning up .all areas .. giving the impression that they wanted the remaining patrons to leave ..our bill was brought to our table.with out our request at 11-15 ..the closing time being 12-00.. over all experience…would return only for entertainment

                                          Met with some friends we hadn’t seen for a while, none of us had eaten here before but we all left feeling really pleased that we had chosen Amorist. The restaurant is bright, clean and welcoming and the people working there were the same! The food was fresh and we all enjoyed the meal. Can recommend the beef tacos. We will be back for cocktails another time as the menu looked amazing. It was very quiet the day we went hence the lower ambience score but still a great night.

                                          Staff unhelpful, website shows wrong info. Although we had booked a table onliine we arrived at confirmed time only to find out that restaurant was closing for the day. So we had to find somewhere else to eat. Luckily there are much friendlier and nicer places to eat in Dunfermline. Will definitely avoid in future.

                                          A unique venue in Dunfermline for good food and a large selection of drinks. Very attentive staff and varied menu depending on time of day. Fresh, tasty food .

                                          Food was lovely. Service was so poor. One waitress looked so angry. Whenever u asked her for a drink she would just give you a dirty look. I was with a party of 15 in total and she was the same with every one of us. The food was lovely though. I actually couldn’t believe someone in that job could be so rude.

                                          The food was incredible, service was very attentive. Noise level was fairly loud but that was bacause it was busy and everyone was having a good evening.I really cannot recommend this place enough, food was just so good and very reasonably priced.

                                          We both had fish& chips,it was delicious.staff were friendly and service was fantastic.And to top it they sold my drink Morgan spiced😀Will definitely return😀🥃Would definitely recommend Amorist bistro bar to friends😀

                                          Fantastic place. food was gorgeous cocktails were fantastic. My only niggle would be that it's too brightly lit for a dinner time venue. Would have been lovely with a more dimmed calm feel for dinner time.
