Angelina is a family owned restaurant in Dalston, serving a surreal exploration of Japanese and Italian cuisines, cultures and influences. It’s as if a Nonna and a Baba spent a day together in the kitchen sharing recipes, and then decided to open a restaurant.
Whilst Italian and Japanese cuisines may seem worlds apart, at their core they share very similar values; food is regional, seasonal and created with minimal meddling and the deepest respect. We are passionate about these similarities and look forward to welcoming you with a smile!

Food was amazing however, I found the mushrooms over salty and the dessert took a long time to come out. But definitely would come back again.

My second visit and wasn't disappointed. Food is amazing! Wine list extensive. Really buzzy and amazing staff. We sat at the big communal table in the middle of the restaurant. If you're looking for a a nice treat, this is the place for you. Can't wait to go back again.

The food was good but we had over a half hour (inexcusable) wait for a small plate of cheese. I think the waiters forgot about us :( Also we were freezing as they had put on an air extractor Right by our table and forgot about it . I’ve never been so cold in a restaurant . Shame as the food was interesting and I would have gone back again

Had a lovely meal here overall. I did however feel a bit rushed. I ordered an extra course after the steak before the dessert just to prolong our evening. I was being handed the next wine before having finished the previous glass. To get 5 courses in under an hour is impressive, but not in a good way. This was an occasion, our anniversary and we were expecting to get to enjoy it for longer than an hour. I did enjoy it, however, just as someone who also works in hospitality I thought u may appreciate the feedback. Staff were lovely, food, superb, atmosphere amazing, just would have liked to enjoy it all for a little longer.
