The Anglesea Arms is found on Selwood Terrace in South Kensington, where Charles Dickens once resided at no. 11. The site was originally a market garden and nursery dating back to 1712. The beautiful traditional pub is a Grade 2 listed building, steeped in heritage from the local South Kensington area.

The site today is a vibrant and iconic London venue, popular with locals and tourists alike, sporting a routinely bustling bar area, a beautiful garden terrace, along with a quiet & cosy dining room, all serving food all day out of our AA Rosette awarded kitchen.

We are very happy for people to bring in dogs to the pub, but in our restaurant we run on a strict no dog policy. The Anglesea arms is an over 21’s premises.

Delicious food and atmosphere. A little slow with the service. But overall a lovely Saturday lunch.

One of favourite pubs and dining rooms. Couple of drinks in the bar and then taken into the cozy dinning room with fire. The wood panelling and candles give it a really romantic atmosphere. The food, as always, was very good. I choose the roast beef which meant 3 generous slices of rare beef with all the trimmings which were all cooked perfectly. Made room for the trifle that had gingerbread instead of sponge and was really nice and festive. Service was excellent as usual. Highly recommend.

Sorry but the pub/kitchen couldn’t cope with the numbers. Service was rushed but it did calm down, sadly not in time to salvage the dinner which was at best average..

Menu had a good selection and my choice was well cooked and tasty. The staff were can do and attentive. The atmosphere in the dining room was cosy.

The service was good, the food however wasn’t what it said on the menu, and the food was bland. Wouldn’t recommend for food but vibey for drinks
