   Absolutely delicious. Whatever sounds good to you, just get it. You can't go wrong with anything you pick. Better yet split multiple items with your table.

   Animae lives up to all of their good reviews. I rate the food and ambiance a 5/5. Service would be 6/5 if it were an option. So exceptional!

   Loved it. Beautiful Dr it and quiet. In boothcould hear no extraneous conversation. Staff great. Food delicious.. wontons, seabass curry excellent rake on Moscow mule!!!

   Food is good. EVERYTHING is way too spicy….like the chard broccolini doesn’t need to be as spicy as the spicy chicken… everything for some reason is spicy. We ordered 12 items and it all has it. This is our 3rd time going and definitely over it. Price is insane like $90 for a bowl on pasta with some lobster chunks? You can save money and eat at better places like Island Prime or Mr. As that actually have a view and food is much better. Everything is just way overpriced by 30%.

   We had an early reservation (5:30 PM) but arrived 30 minutes early. As the restaurant was not busy yet, they sat us immediately. The hostess was pleasant and friendly, as was the person offering water. Our waiter on the other hand, came over a bit pretentious and aloof. I almost felt I didn't belong there. I made note to look at other waiters who did seem friendly and outgoing. That said, that is his personality so we had to adjust our expectation. He was helpful in reviewing the menu and offering suggestions, though I felt pushed to order everything a one time. He said it was to manage the delivery of the food which I understand somewhat, but to me it felt felt more like wanting to turn the table quickly. We started with a Sake flight. The portions were substantial which gave both of us many tastes. All three Sake's were different which I enjoyed. The waiter didn't offer much in the way of information except the names of each. I would have liked to know more about each. We opened with the Gimaari, a shrimp & pork roll which was served at a perfect temp and was enjoyable but slightly salty and seemed to be missing another ingredient to bring it over the top. For entre's, we had the Seabass Curry. The seabass was cooked perfectly but I never tasted any currey or much flavor from the other parts. It came with creamed yams which were OK but had the texture of hospital food. We also had the duck with a good portion, but again, seemed to lake something for more flavor. Dessert was a coconut mousse which my partner thoroughly enjoyed, though again, I felt it needed a bit of sweetness. The presentation of all items was beautiful and perfectly plated. Overall we did enjoy ourselves, but doubt I will return as the value did not meet expectations.

    Our servers were Nina & Rafael, they were super attentive, didn’t have to call them at all since they were timely with their check-ins. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and it was a great experience. The manager Audrey (I believe) was kind to approach us and ask about our experience, and even give us insight into the meals we ordered. 10/10 would love to dine there again.
