Opened in November 2020, our venue lets you indulge in an approachable yet refined atmosphere that delivers a fine dinning experience that resonates with each guest. Surrounded by a team driven by passion, Chef Danny Beaulieu takes pride in honoring the richness of the Canadian terroir, showcasing a vision of contemporary Canadian cuisine.

For the full experience a 6 courses tasting menu is also available.
Our sommelier Julie Hélie curates a wine list designed to pair with the creations chef Beaulieu & his team brings to the table. Enhancing our approach to what we believe is an outstanding gastronomic experience.

Also, elaborated seasonally, ãnkôr offers a diversified local beer selection as well as a Canadian spirits focused cocktail list.

    Feb 7, 2025 We will be only offering our 6 courses tasting menu on this evenings, our regular "À la carte" options will NOT be available. The menu will feature 6 courses, 5 savory and 1 sweet, rotating from our staple dishes. ** If you wish to know more right away please contact us via Email or Phone** ** ALLERGIES ** Please confirm as a note on your reservation, our host will also call and confirm with everyone to make sure we can cater to your diet / restrictions ** CANCELATION ** Groups up to 4 will be charged 25$ per person for canceling within 24 hours. Groups of 5 to 7 will be charged 25$ per person for canceling within 72 hours. Groups of 8 or more will be charged 400$ per person for canceling within 72 hours.

    This restaurant was such a treat! It’s small and cozy inside and not too loud, which we so appreciate. The service was outstanding. Completely flawless. We tried the tasting menu and it was a great way to try some different foods with it being our first time there. Our favourites were the foie (SO silky) and the duck (beautifully crispy). We tried two cocktails- apple and beet. Both were so tasty and unique. Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in Canmore!

    We were so fortunate to dine at Änkôr 4 times in 2024, and each time was a mind-blowing experience. Thank you Änkôr for another unforgettable experience - we are in awe each and every time we have the honour of dining with you! Chef Danny Beaulieu and the kitchen team are unmatched in creativity & talent. Sommelier Julie Hélie has such a gift, her wine pairings come with so much thought & are the perfect accompaniment to each dish. We had the pleasure of her being our server for NYE and what a delightful evening we had; we were smiling or laughing all night! Mixologist Joshua Frost is a true genius behind the bar! Assistant GM Paisley Randell adds a feeling of 'home' to the evening, which is truly special and means so much. We wish to thank you ALL again for another exquisite dinner, we will be back soon! ❤️

    No matter how many times I go I am Never disappointed at Ankor! The food is amazing, the service excellent, everything about it is next level. I would recommend to anyone who loves food!

    I recently dined at ankor and had a pleasant experience overall. The atmosphere was very nice, creating a comfortable and inviting setting. The service was very good, although it felt a bit rehearsed at times. The highlight of the meal was the scallop & pork dish, which was absolutely delicious. However, the servings were quite small, leaving me wanting a bit more. On the bright side, the wine and cocktails were excellent, complementing the meal perfectly. While it wasn't a life changing/top 5 experience, I still enjoyed my time at ankor and would recommend it for a nice evening out.
