A.O.C. is a small plates restaurant driven by seasonal ingredients, locally sourced.
Our California French cuisine was developed by Chef Suzanne Goin, and also features Mediterranean influences.
We have 24 wines by the glass and 150 bottles to choose from, curated by Caroline Styne, all of which are either organic, biodynamic or sustainable.
Featuring a full bar with premium spirits and specialty cocktails.

AOC is proud to offer both outdoor and indoor dining. Our patios feature shared heaters, however we highly recommend bringing appropriate outerwear for your comfort. Unfortunately, inclement weather may affect our ability to honor your reservation. In the event of rain, we will notify you as soon as possible to communicate any weather related cancellations and to assist you with rescheduling your reservation.

Beginning November 4th, a.o.c. will require that all guests require proof of vaccination or negative results from a Covid test taken within 72 hours of entry.

Join us as Suzanne prepares a four-course EASTER SUNDAY SUPPER prix fixe menu! In Keeping with our Sunday Supper tradition, Caroline will once again, select wines from her list to offer as a supplemental pairing. We look forward to welcoming old friends and new! Due to the limited space available for this event, reservations will become final after midnight on April 16th. Cancellations after this time will be subject to the full menu charge. $85 per person exclusive of beverage, tax and gratuity.

Overrated. Honestly we have had a couple bad experiences here but we wanted to give them another chance because we used to love this place, but, the service was terrible (we didn’t even know who our server actually was) and it’s supposed to be shared plates but everything took forever to come out so you couldn’t really pair plates together. The food is good, however, it’s not even close to being worth what you’re paying for it, and just all around weird vibes from the staff all night.

Without doubt, one of LA’s, if not California’s best places to dine. The menu is consistently inventive and delicious, and the staff always makes you feel like you are “coming home,”. Brunch was so marvelous yesterday that we are going back for an encore today!

We left hungry. I never complain but the portions were actually offensive. I don’t mind paying for a nice dinner but they actively tried to rip people off on Valentine’s Day

Food was great, drinks were great, service was excellent. The Valentine’s Day fixed menu felt overpriced for two people.
