A.O.C is a small plates restaurant driven by seasonal ingredients, locally sourced. Our California French cuisine was developed by Chef Suzanne Goin, and has some Mediterranean influences as well. We have a large selection of wines by the glass and over 150 bottles chose from, curated by Caroline Styne, all of witch are either organic, biodynamic or sustainable. Featuring a full bar with premium spirits and specialty cocktails.

It was a disappointing experience- the food wasn’t great. Service was slow. And there was a very load party in the private room. We never got one of the dishes we ordered.

I brought a potential client to dinner here and was highly disappointed. It started at the bar where the bill for the two drinks that I ordered seemed high. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that I had been given someone else's tab. We sat down to dinner and ordered a round of appetizers and three entrees. Two of the entrees arrived first and we had to flag down our waiter to ask why that happened. He had no response and sent out one of the appetizers immediately and then the other two arrived (mind you this was just olives and almonds) arrived fifteen minutes later. I asked him to remove the salad from our order and where the other entree was. Ten minutes later it arrived. For the final mishap, I asked him to please validate my parking. It was no shock when I went to leave the parking lot and found out that my ticket had not been validated and I had to pay the full amount.

We were in west LA for UCLA Family weekend. Service was good and my avocado toast was excellent. My granddaughter thought the French toast was too rich, my grandson loved his steak and eggs. The Duck Hash was not Hash, but chunks of Duck. Service was good and will come back to try dinner

Love the place! Great food and service. Just one suggestion though.. the plates for the Entrees are too small. The plate sizes are more appropriate for serving appetizers.
