Apulia Osteria Italiana is located in Placida, Florida just a few miles away from the beautiful Island of Boca Grande and Manasota key just 20 minutes from Port Charlotte and Venice.
The warm hospitality and the professionalism you will receive at Apulia will make you feel welcome throuout your entire visit. Chef Dario Leo along with his staff will make sure you will be delighted with superb food and great service.
You will enjoy dishes from his native region " Apulia" also called "The hill of the boot", specialties such as Orecchiette with Rapini, Fritto misto di Paranza ( seafood) , Burrata, Baked Snapper, Beef Braciole, Pasticciotto Leccese and so many other dishes from all over Italy such as Ossobuco, Risotti, Gnocchi, Branzino, Ravioli, Tiramisu, Gelati and so much more......

    Wonderful experience at apulia, as always great food,great atmosphere,great people,the osso bucco,is totally recommended,very delicious, comes with a saffron risotto, you will never have a bad meal here food is always great, Chef Dario always serves the best!

    No words can describe how good the food is at Apulia. We were fortunate enough to be there on Lazagna night. Definitely the most delicious and authentic I’ve ever had. Everything made from scratch and it shows.

    Amazing like always!!! Chef Dario always serves up the best authentic Italian cuisine, I had the grilled swordfish was very delicious! My husband had a chef special which consist of linguine with crab meat and broccoli rabe with a light tomato sauce, the shrimp salad is an absolute must try! Our server Michael was very attentive, and very friendly, everyone is welcoming ! Must visit this neighborhood gem!!!

    Our experience @ Apulia Osteria was fabulous! They have nice, quiet booths (our choice) a small bar area and a couple other choices. Our server, Kim was very attentive. She really knew the menu and gave wonderful recommendations! We got the meatball appetizer, I had the red snapper “special” and my hubby had linguine and clams in a light wine sauce. Everything was spot on! We will definitely return!

    I am so happy I found this place. Best authentic Italian I’ve found in southwest Florida. (May be the best in all of Florida, but I can only speak to my experience which is limited to the southwest). I had the chicken Marsala, mashed potatoes and green beans with crème brûlée for dessert. Each item was absolutely delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Each little detail and ingredient incorporated wad truly appreciated and enjoyed. I am definitely coming back, and looking forward to it!!!!

    Dinner was very delicious, our server Ann was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect we had pollo ai fungi very good the best!!! We also had shrimp salad and chef special linguine with shrimp and crab meat, all very delicious!! I recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine this is it!
